Who is the other Jordan?
There is only one. Marketing is both an art and a science; it has a visual side and an analytical side. Many agencies can produce the pieces for a marketing campaign, but don't understand how to properly implement the campaign by focusing on the goal of the campaign before developing the campaign. Conversely, there are agencies who will instruct, teach, educate, inform on marketing but do not offer the production or implementation of the campaign. Agency founder and president, Shonna Jordan, recognized a need (particularly in for the small business) to bring the two sides of marketing together, so the agency name became Jordan & Jordan. It's like right brain/left brain... Jordan & Jordan... It's a single entity with two sides.

What kinds of projects do you do?
If you have a project in mind, we can most likely make it happen for you. Check out our campaign pages for a few examples of some marketing projects the agency has produced.

And if you have no idea of what you are looking for, we can do a no-cost discovery session with you to determine your goals, what marketing you've tried, what worked/what didn't and WHY.

Do we have to come to your office? Or will someone come to ours?
That depends on the nature of the meeting. The Discovery Sessions are typically held in our office. After we begin working together, some consultations can be held at your office, most are held at our office or over the phone. Many clients find it "refreshing" to get away from the office so there are no daily distractions to interfere with the consultation.

How long has Jordan & Jordan been in business?
January 2009 is the beginning of our eighth year in business.

What types of clients do you work with?
We work with all types of clients in various industries. From the independent agent or small business owner to the marketing director at a larger company. From the company producing/selling products to the service-only business.

Please see our campaign section for some of the variety of clients we work with.

Is there a guarantee that our marketing will work?
There are no "guarantees" in marketing. We can only remind you that doing nothing produces nothing. Consistency and a good marketing mix along with the right "to whom?", "for what reason?", "with what message?", "by what method?" and "how often?" are the keys to success. Please see our "Forum for FourT" topics The Five Critical Elements to Any Marketing Campaign if you are interested in learning more about marketing campaigns.

What is an IdeaStorming Session?
A fabulous marketing session that gets the synapses firing like lighting over the desert. Clients come to us with their own ideas; we come up with some ideas before the session and together we create an IdeaList... which in many cases is the beginning of a great marketing plan.

What is a NameStormingT Session?
Whether you have a new business, a business that needs to be better branded or a product that needs a name, we get together to work together to come up with creative and clever names that are memorable, relevant and brandable.

What is a Discovery Session?
An initial session with the agency. It is a no-cost consultation in which we discuss your marketing goals; what marketing you've tried; what worked/what didn't and how we can be of service in to your business and its marketing. AND... no client ever leaves a Discovery Session without at least one marketing tip/technique that they can implement immediately!

What is a MarketingMatters! Forum for FourT?
A Marketing Matters Forum for FourT is a small group session (maximum 4 people) at our office on topics pertinent and specific to the needs of the people in the group. We have found that by sharing knowledge and experience on marketing topics in a small group setting, clients gain more insight into their own marketing and get immediate feedback from a mini focus group. Plus, by the end of the session, each participant will have an immediately implementable strategy and direction on the topic discussed.

Please review our currently available Forum for FourT topics and/or sign up for a forum.

How long is a session/consultation?
The session length depends on the type of session. Discovery Sessions are typically one hour while IdeaStorming and NameStormingT Sessions can be up to 2.5 hours.Planning Sessions are typically a half-day meeting. And Forum for FourT Sessions are 2-3 hours depending on the topic. Other consultations vary depending on the agenda and are scheduled accordingly.

Rates/Contracts

How does the agency charge?
By the hour or by the project. If there is a clearly defined scope of work involved, the project rate is the best way to go. Consultations are typically billed on an hourly basis. Rates can vary depending on the project/session and will be discussed/reviewed prior to day of session. Forums for FourT are priced per session or per session series.

Can we make payments?
Yes, depending on the project. Many clients for whom we have completed and are implementing a marketing plan choose to make monthly payments for the term of the plan. On other projects, we may or may not offer payment options depending on the scope of work.

Do you take credit cards?
Yes. Visa and MasterCard.

Do we have to sign a contract to work with the agency?
Depending on the project, all clients will sign an estimate and/or a service agreement.

Services

Can the agency help us create a marketing plan?
Absolutely. And the best part is after our half-day planning session with you, we do all the research, writing, budgeting, outlines, lists, calendaring/scheduling, and organizing and present you with a plan binder all ready to be implemented.

Can the agency help us implement our marketing plan?
Absolutely. Whether you have a plan or we create one for you, the agency will help you be sure that it gets put into action!

Does the agency do research?
Yes. Marketing research, strategic alliance research, publication research, etc. depending on what information is needed to develop and/or implement a project or assess the viability of a campaign for your business.

Does the agency do networking for its clients?
Now we're getting to the face-to-face marketing campaigns... which is one area we typically do not do. However, exceptions can be made depending on the situation. For example, if a client wanted us to do a 3-minute spotlight at a networking event for them, we would be delighted to introduce them as long as they are attending the networking event.

Will an agency team member represent us at an event?
As mentioned above, face-to-face marketing campaigns are typically not performed by an agency team member. However, we are happy to be introduced as your marketing agency. Our policy is to not represent ourselves as an employee of our clients.

Production/Scheduling

What is the normal turnaround time for a marketing project?
Depending on the production schedule, turnaround time from receipt of signed estimate/service agreement to first review by you is approximately 7-10 business days. However, a heavy production schedule can extend that turnaround time to up to 15 business days.

Will you expedite a project for a quicker turnaround?
Yes. It depends on the production schedule. There is normally an expedite fee. If you have a tight deadline for implementation of a marketing campaign, please CALL as soon as possible.

Have you ever missed a deadline?
Not that we know of .

How do you manage/handle ongoing campaigns?
We calendar an ongoing campaign and work it into our production schedule as it comes time for the next deployment. Our clients never have to remember. We notify them well in advance of the campaign deadline to let them know the project is scheduled into production. We then discuss the concept with the client, produce a proof, make revisions, send a final, get approval and manage implementation... all with minimal time and effort from the client.

Fulfillment/Procurement

Do you do printing? mailing?
We are not a printer or a mailing house. We will help you with your smaller direct mail campaigns, however, larger jobs should go to a mailing house.

Can you help with getting my printing and mailing done?
Absolutely. One of the services we provide is procurement/project management (this is typically included in a project estimate). Using our network of resources, we will coordinate all the fulfillment needs of your campaign, make sure the service providers are doing their jobs, handle any issues that may arise and ensure that the project is completed properly, on time and in budget!

Can you work with our printer/mailing house/other service provider?
Yes, of course. We will speak with them prior to project commencement and coordinate with them to ensure that we will meet their specifications.
